Welcoming NEW Beginners to Autumn Term 2025!

Our fresh term starts on Monday 8 September 2025. Bookings are open and run on a first come first served basis.

For NEW Beginners

We look forward to welcoming you to class. T’ai Chi is a lifelong journey, so do allow yourself to go with the flow for the full course. The first weeks are different in approach from Week 3 onwards. Be open to unlearning some old habits around rushing and feeling constantly “on”. In T’ai Chi we’re not rushing anywhere, but it takes a shift in mindset to really allow ourselves to relax and open the awareness and presence.

Please say hello

I like to speak with every new student before term begins. Please do get in touch to say hello. I can help with any questions before you book. If you message me or use the Contact button, please allow a couple of days and I will get back to you to arrange a convenient time for a call.

For returners

Welcome back! Prepare your mindset by jotting down three reasons why you are joining the class.

For all

The t’ai chi room Book Club is a place for you to learn about the broader picture, and background to T’ai Chi and its ancient history. Please see the Book Club post in this News tab for details of how you can register your interest.

If you are just starting in September, do go ahead and sign up to receive the t’ai chi room Newsletter. This is issued roughly half-termly. And will provide some good tips for your improved practice, as well as inspiring pieces on the history and symbolism of T’ai Chi. Little deep dives as I like to call them! Sign up via the button in the footer of this page.

And I look forward to seeing you in class in September!
