Filming the DVD – heady summer days at Wittenham Clumps!
After scoping, planning, scripting, test-filming & tweaking our ideas for nearly 6 months, we filmed across two beautiful days. Wittenham Clumps is a stunning location with a very open setting, bringing nature to the heart of the film. We captured some heady summer days, which brings to the DVD a very relaxing outlook. Katharine and Chris were on cameras, and I had the best job just performing T’ai Chi all day in the open, listening to some very tuneful crickets in the meadows, and catching the occasional souring bird overhead.
Warm thanks go to the Earth Trust, for kindly granting us permission to base our T’ai Chi demonstrations and pieces to camera in their beautiful meadows. For more on Wittenham Clumps, do visit their website.
I am hugely grateful to Katharine for project-managing the whole process so brilliantly.
